the stuff dreams are made of

The cat's out of the bag! The big announcement has been made and yours truly is on the list. Along with Becky Teichmiller, Gaby Alcántara, Sarah de Guzman, Pauline Dirrig, Candra George, Aida Haron, Akiko Kuroki, Lori Mancini, Gayle Martin, Simona Montanari, Jo-Anne te Raa, Michelle Van Etten, and Virginia Wong, I am a Swanky Girl. I couldn't be more excited to work with Urban Lily product or these fantastic scrapbookers! Check out their blogs for a ton of inspiration.

I've also made a couple more pages

This one was inspired by an art piece at Scrapbook Dreamer.

And this one
is for the Scraplift Challenge at Scrapbook Dreamer and the color challenge (brown and green) at A Cherry on Top. I lifted the fabulous Zoe for the page.

And holding out one more page from you
I'm not please with how this picture I took of it came out but I really adore the page and am so in love with the papers in real life. This more of the Scrap Within Reach papers.

For the first time in awhile, I'm really exhausted. I have a bit of a headache and I don't think I'm going to stay up and scrap tonight. It almost feels like I'm ditching work or something. I feel guilty, but only because I know I'll miss out on playing with all that fun stuff in my room. I guess I'll just have to dream about it... grin.

the pictures from the past the pages from now

I recently completed this two page LO. It's unusual for me to do something with two pages and I had thought about making a mini-album with these pictures but it took all summer and most of this fall before I finally found the perfect papers to use with the photos and this two page with the doily in the middle spoke the most to me.

I bought only a little bit of this line and am going to buy some more because the colors and patterns just make me weak in the knees. You should see what's on the back of that strawberry paper!

Sometimes I have a bit of trouble breaking into papers that I find impossibly gorgeous. Such is the case with Pink Paislee. This month I finally talked myself into braving the gorgeousness and I love the results! Take a look at these sneak peeks of my Pink Paislee projects for Scrapbook Dreamer and come on by for some November fun!

Details on what I have done to the sticker strips is posted with my pages in the gallery!

It was September at Scrapbook Dreamer

In September the theme was school related and I had one just starting school, so that was perfect! Here are the pages I made:

Head on over to Scrapbook Dreamer and join in on our fun. We've got a great list of challenges to inspire you and the store is packed with awesome new product!

The end of the season

This week I have been working on summer pages even though I'm more drawn to fall pages right now. I just don't have my fall pictures printed and I'm struggling to find a place that I like getting them printed. I think I need to get one of those screen calibrators so that I have a better idea what some of my editing will look like. But, I have discovered this wonderful company called Scrap Within Reach. I saw the colors on their Paper Boy line and I had to give them a try because I love yellow. But, this is not just any yellow, this yellow has the slightest greenish tint to it that makes it a perfect match for summer highlights on sun-kissed grass. I am in love with this color! And, I may have found a new go-to company for papers that are a perfect fit for boy pictures. Goodness knows I have plenty of pictures of little boys. So, here's the two pages that I created using the Paper Boy line from Scrap Within Reach

The Halloween Crunch

So many things to get ready for this time of year. I'm still scrapping, just not posting as much as I would like to. Here's some things that I made recently

I don't show pictures of my room because until yesterday, this is what my room looked like:

Today it looks like this:

I only found one spider, but cleaned tons of webs, scraps of paper, and dust. I now store my buttons on the window in little buckets and I think it looks really cute. I also organized my flowers and chipboard letters better and found a place for my clear stamps. C says that we should put our bedroom in here because this looks so good now! Can't wait to scrap in here tonight!

It was August at Scrapbook Dreamer

And, these are the pages that I made all the way back then!

I used a combination of Marks Paper Company and Lily Bee papers. I loved them all, especially the colors. I'm totally a color girl and if the color is good, then the papers are the bomb!

You can purchase the Marks Paper Co. papers here: Marks Paper Company
